The domestic “environment” is one of my favorite subjects. If modernity is all about efficiency of methods of production, Bulthaup does it with the design of their Kitchens while creating the rituals that enshrine the importance of kitchen objects in american culture.
The non-utility of a showroom kitchen of Bulthaup located in Scottsdale, AZ, can be transformed into utility for art for one hour, with a kitchen drama that put art into life, that can transform a functional kitchen into a “window for reflection” on the duality of past-future, as a commentary on the future of the space of kitchen. “RADICANT SUGO” is cooked with some commentaries displayed as objects inside the furnitures, adding to them, framing ideas on fire, water, refrigeration, trash, dining table, cutting, preparation, cooking."
